The Perfect Book for a Audrey Hepburn Fan
If you are a fan of the legendary Audrey Hepburn (which I am) or you know someone that is, this book, AUDREY HEPBURN, A Life in Pictures by Pierre-Henri Verlhac and Yann-Brice Dherbier will be perfect for you or as a gift. The book is scheduled to be released on November 1st of this year. The list price is $39.95.
Audrey Hepburn, A Life in Pictures is a hardcover book published by Anova Books and will feature a foreword (introduction) by famed fashion designer Hurbert de Givenchy. The book will be filled with beautiful pictures like those featured below (All photos credited to: Amazon.com):
A Face Mask for Sensitive Skin
If you have sensitive skin a mask you might want to try is Astara Green Papaya Nutrient Mask ($39.00). I have sensitive skin and thought I would give this a try. This mask is quite easy to use just apply after cleansing your face then let dry. I found it was very gentle on my skin and didn't leave it feeling dry or tight. According to the package, the algae, mineral extracts, green papaya enzymes and essential oils are suppose to refine the skin while removing debris and dead skin cells.
Even though it's good for sensitive skin I would still do a skin test to make sure there are not any irritations.

Too Busy to Listen to Voice Mail, Why Not Just Read It.
I am all for making things easier and saving myself some time but have we as a society become so busy (or a little too lazy) that we can't even listen to our own voice mails. There are companies such as spinvox.com and simulscribe.com that are providing services that will convert voice mails into text messages or e-mail. Maybe this is something you are looking for that will help you shave off a little extra time. Then this is probably the perfect service for you.
I don't know maybe it's me but it also feel like a privacy issue because they would be listening to my voice mails before I do and then type them up to send to me.
I don't think I have become that busy or lazy to listen to voice mail for a few minutes but from a marketing standpoint they created a service that people obviously want to use which has awarded them top reviews from some of the nations best newspapers, business and tech magazines. These type of companies took notice of how super busy our society has become and created a new niche in the industry.
What do you think about these types of services? Convenient or another way to make us more lazy?

NEW YORK, Sept. 21 (Lord & Taylor) -- Lord and Taylor announces the opening of Kaleidoscope Katrina, an exhibit of works by 12 artists from New Orleans in its flagship's Fifth Avenue windows, September 20th through October 14th.
The exhibit, in support of the rebuilding of the New Orleans art community, include Sidonie Villere, Jonathan Ferrara, Jeffrey Pitt, Dawn Dedeaux, Luis Cruz Azaceta, Raine Bedsole, Doyle Gertjejansen, Sally Heller, Jeremy Jernegan, George Dunbar, Margaret Evangeline and Jose Maria Cundin. "Gossip Girl" Cocktail for Friend's Party: "Rich Bitch"
I almost forgot to post the signature drink from my friends "Gossip Girl" party that I helped her plan. The drink is called "Rich Bitch". The Midori gives it a nice and light taste. I mixed this up with a friend of mine who works at a nightclub to see if he would like it, which he did. It's good to have a honest opinion.
Rich Bitch
Ingredients:
1 oz Midori Melon Liqueur
1 oz vodka
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Chilled Champagne
Directions:
1. Mix the Midori, vodka and lemon juice in a shaker.
2. Shake well.
3. Pour into chilled champagne flute and top off with champagne.
Remember: Drink Responsibly and Don't Drink & Drive.
Let me know what you think of it?

Luxury and Sports: Louis Vuitton Petanque Set
Fashon Week Daily is reporting that Louis Vuitton has created a limited-edition pétanque ball set priced at $1,813. The Luxury collection was created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the sport pétanque. The set includes a leather-encased set of nine monogrammed balls and a cochonnet, or jack.
If this is in your price range and you're looking for a special gift for a worldly sports fan then this pétanque set is probably the perfect gift.

What to Watch Tonight: Back To You, ANTM and Gossip Girl
Three shows I'm actually looking forward to seeing tonight are: Back To You, America's Next Top Model and Gossip Girl.
8:00pm
America's Next Top Model (CW Network) 60min
This is the ninth season of Tyra Banks hit show. Tune in tonight to follow the new contestants try to achieve their goal of becoming America's Next Top Model.
Back To You (FOX)
This new show starring Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton is about a pair of cantankerous star news anchors work together at a local TV station. I think this show is worth a look because both Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton are good at bringing laughs. So I will give it a watch.
9:00pm
Gossip Girl (CW Network) 60min
Gossip Girl is a new series based on the best selling novels by Cecily von Ziegesar. The show follows the lives of affluent NYC's Upper East Side teens who attend a private high school. The series will focus mainly around former best friends, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), and their shared love interest, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford). The show is created by Josh Schwartz who also created "The O.C.".
I think the show may live up to the hype because for a good reason, from my informal research most teens and 20somethings are a little exhausted from all the California based shows such as MTV's "Laguna Beach", FOX's "The O.C.", Bravo's "Real Housewives of Orange County", MTV's "The Hills", BET's "Baldwin Hills" and most recently MTV's "Newport Harbor: The Real O.C." and "Life of Ryan". Gossip Girl will give a different and fresh perspective on the teen cycle.

One to Watch: Chace Crawford
Since the much hyped CW Network's "Gossip Girl" is premiering tonight I thought I would profile Christopher Chace Crawford (goes by Chace Crawford) as a One to Watch.
Starting tonight Crawford will be starring as Nate Archibald on "Gossip Girl" but unlike most Hollywood newcomers he didn't catch the spark for acting until much later. This Texas native orignally started out as a model which he continued even while attending Pepperdine University in California. It was while attending his second year of college that the interest of acting came about. Crawford also credits his mother for the initial encouragement for entering the entertainment industry.
Crawford's professional acting career began in 2006 with the Lifetime movie "Long Lost Son" starring USA Network's "Burn Notice" Gabrielle Anwar. The movie was about a mother (Anwar) who realizes 14 years later that the son (Crawford) and husband she believed to have drowned are still alive. Also, in 2006, he had his featured film debute in the late summer hit "The Covenant" which also starred Steven Strait, Taylor Kitsch, Toby Hemingway, Sebastian Stan, Jessica Lucas and Laura Ramsey.
Besides "Gossip Girl", Crawford has two upcoming projects, The first is the movie "Loaded" starring Jesse Metcalfe. Crawford will be playing Hayden Price" and the film also includes NBC's "Heroes" Jimmy Jean-Louis, Monica Keena, Krupt, Drew Fuller and Nicole Eggert. His second project, is director Mickey Liddell's debute independent film "She Lived", in which he will be starring as Joseph Young and also included are NBC's "Medium" Jake Weber and Haley Bennett (who was in the Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant hit "Music and Lyrics") .
In my opinion, after tonight he's going to be one of the new faces to watch and will probably wish he still had a little anonymity left. By tomorrow he will probably be "googled" by millions of teenage girls.
