There seems to be a problem with uploading photos to blogger. Hopefully the problem will be fixed soon, so that I can finish my Spring Shoe series before spring is over :) .

Press Release: Say 'I Do' To Fun Drink Recipes For Bridal Showers

ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 29 -- Celebrating the bride begins long before she puts on the white dress and says "I do." How Was Your St. Patrick's Day?

I didn't go all out like some people (I wonder how they're feeling this morning), I just went out to dinner with a few friends and had an Irish inspired meal of corned beef, cabbage, other veggies and a dessert. The only drink that I had was a candy green apple martini. Wasn't really looking to drink all night. I saw a lot of people falling all night that's for sure. It wasn't just the 20-something crowd getting drunk it was also a lot of the 40+ crowd. It's like they wait all year for that one day to come. I hope they had a lot fun.

What Were They Thinking: Criminal gets a Reality Show on E!

What is our society coming to when an "alleged" robber can have her own reality show? Why do we continue to reward people who do bad thing? If I were one of the celebrities that was robbed by her little group, I would refuse to give E! any exclusive interviews. They certainly weren't taking any of their feelings into account when they continued to film the show.

This just adds to the contious dumbing down of our society, give a fame seeking criminal her own time in the spotlight. I just want to know what were the networks over at E! thinking? Money was probably at the top of the list, I guess.

What I'm Reading: Sex, Murder and a Double Latte

I started reading "Sex, Murder and a Double Latte" by Kyra Davis over the weekend and I'm already over a 100 pages in which means it's a pretty good read. This is the first in the series and I find the plot and characters to be funny and interesting. It's really hard to put down because I want to know what going to happen next.

About the book:

When a mystery writer cries bloody murder, everyone blames her overactive imagination...

Thriller scribe Sophie Katz is as hard-boiled as a woman who drinks Grande Caramel Brownie Frappuccinos can be. So Sophie knows it's not paranoia or post-divorce, living-alone-again jitters, when she becomes convinced that a crazed reader is sneaking into her apartment to reenact scenes from her books. The police, however, can't tell a good plot from an unmarked grave.

When a filmmaker friend is brutally murdered in the manner of a death scene in one of his movies, Sophie becomes convinced that a copycat killer is on the loose--and that she's the next target. If she doesn't solve the mystery, her own bestseller will spell out her doom. Cursing her grisly imagination (why, oh, why did she have to pick the ax?), Sophie engages in some real-life gumshoe tactics. The man who swoops in to save her in dark alleys is mysterious new love interest Anatoly Darinsky. Of course, if this were fiction, Anatoly would be her prime suspect....
