** Puma and model/socialite Lydia Hearst are teaming up again this time to create a more affordable patchwork bag similar to the limited edition luxury bag Hearst created in 2006 for Puma. The bag will be priced between $80 and $100.

** A Cigarette ad for Camel No. 9 cigarettes in Vogue magazine angers many. Letters were written as part of a grass-roots campaign by an anti-smoking group to get Vogue to drop ads for the new, prettily packaged Camels, which they and others think are targeted to younger women and teenagers.

Vogue is not the only magazine to feature this ad, pick up nearly any fashion magazine this month — Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, Lucky — and you'll see a colorful cigarette ad mixed in with articles on beauty, fitness, nutrition and glowing skin (LA Times).

** SHADES (http://www.shadeszine.com), a new online magazine launching June 1, dares to break out of the mainstream mold and inspire us to change the way we see the world. SHADES is a manifest of creative, thought-provoking ideas and strives to be an all-inclusive consortium for young artists and activists who are making waves in their communities.

** Former New Kids on the Block singer and season-one Dancing With the Stars contestant Joey McIntyre and his wife, Barrett, are expecting their first child.
