My Review of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles
I thought the new Terminator series was okay. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. I thought the acting could of been a lot stronger as well as the fight scenes could of been more explosive. It just didn't seem to mesh well to me. I think viewers may find themselves thinking back to the original actors and comparing them to current ones. Since, I am a fan of the original films I had to stop myself from comparing Leah Headey's performance to Linda Hamilton's as well as Summer Glau's terminator to Kristanna Loken's T3 terminator. I had to put that out of my mind and see the show and the actors as something new.
A few things that kind of stood out to me was how pathetic Sarah Connor came across on screen, she was weak, timid and unbecoming. Also, the actresses Summer Glau (Terminator Cameron) and Leah Headey (Sarah Connor) had little if any muscle tone which came across as unbelievable as being powerful fighters. Not saying that you need a lot of muscle to be an action hero but it does make it more believable that they can hold their own in the fight scenes.
Hopefully, the second episode which airs tonight at 9:00pm on Fox (it's regularly scheduled day (Monday) and time) will be much better. For now, I will give it 2 and a 1/2 stars.

I'm on the same page. Great to see someone on the fashion front review it. :-) I have to say - I was so pumped watching Linda Hamilton in the 2nd Terminator, when she kicked some serious you know what. So, it is hard to not want the same from the new character. I found myself secretly wishing it was LInda Hamilton on the tv screen. I'm a huge fan of Terminator movies and was intrigued by the whole "let's explore Sarah direction" this tv seriess intends to do. I didn't get a chance to see the 2nd one. Your thoughts? I'm still hanging on, trying to give it a shot.
I tried to watch the second episode on Monday but I eventually changed the channel midway in. It just didn't hold my interest. I really thought it was going to be a great show.
