Artist and Illustrator: Aasha Ramdeen

Aasha Ramdeen is a California based freelance artist and illustrator who specialize in fashion illustration and fine art. Aasha is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with an MFA in Illustration.

Her work has appeared from the fashion industry to the greeting cards industry with original lines of greeting cards, book/journal designs and calendars with such companies as Sunrise Greetings, MEAD and Portal Publishing.

She also have been commissioned to create private collections including Lacoste School of the Arts Permanent Collection.

Some of her other clients include: Fred Segal, Mattel, Bella Tote Couture, the Savannah College of Art and Design, Skechers USA, Disney Consumer Products and Ancestry Magazine.

After studying Art and Design at Cheltenham College of Higher Education, Victoria graduated from Falmouth College of Arts, Cornwall, with a first class BA Hons in Illustration. She soon went on to accept her first commission for The Children’s Company, through which she was fortunate enough to illustrate BAFTA Award winning children’s series ‘Ripley and Scuff’ for Children’s ITV.
Victoria has since produced illustrations for numerous children’s books and publications, both in the UK and the United States. She regularly produces artwork for limited edition prints and greetings cards, with well over a hundred cards published.
Clients include: Harcourt Education, Scholastic, Gullane, Sino Publishing, Hallmark Cards, Woman & Home magazine, Fountainhead Art Brands, Innovative Kids, Storck, Doodlelab, Pearson Scott Foresman, The Children’s Company for CITV and De Montfort Fine Art.
Victoria works predominantly in acrylic, often introducing mixed media such as photographic image transfer or ink for a more contemporary effect.
