Secret Beauty Weapon against Partied Out Skin

There have probably been times when you didn't get enough sleep or perhaps partied a little too hard over the weekend and now your skin definitely shows it. A little product that I like to keep stocked in my bathroom is the L'Oreal Advanced RevitaLift Mask (contains 4 mask for $14.99, drugstores).

Although, it's geared towards women with mature skin, I like to use this mask every once in a while when my skin needs a refresher. It's the perfect little beauty weapon, because it re-hydrates my skin and gives me that 8-hour sleep look despite only getting around two. I also stick one in my travel bag to refresh after taking the plane.

It's easy to use just apply the cloth mask for no longer than 10 minutes, then remove but don't rinse off remaining product just massage in to continue the treatment.

Turn Shower into Deep-Cleansing Spa with Clean & Clear

Can't afford a trip to the spa? Then a fantastic new product to try is Clean & Clear Soft In-Shower Facial ($6.99, drugstores). This facial treatment can be used 1-3 times a week turning your shower into a spa (no appointment needed). It contains a blend of glycolic acid, clay and exfoliating beads designed to work in a minute for a deep cleansing, detoxify, smoother and more softer skin.

It works by first applying a generous amount to face like a facial mask. Let sit for a minute then massage skin to activate exfoliating beads and smooth away dead surface skin. Rinse, dry then follow with facial moisturizer.

A Face Mask for Sensitive Skin

If you have sensitive skin a mask you might want to try is Astara Green Papaya Nutrient Mask ($39.00). I have sensitive skin and thought I would give this a try. This mask is quite easy to use just apply after cleansing your face then let dry. I found it was very gentle on my skin and didn't leave it feeling dry or tight. According to the package, the algae, mineral extracts, green papaya enzymes and essential oils are suppose to refine the skin while removing debris and dead skin cells.

Even though it's good for sensitive skin I would still do a skin test to make sure there are not any irritations.

The Hot New Summer Product: Bliss Fat Girl Slim

The newest beauty product that's getting a lot of buzz is Fat Girl Slim by Bliss ($29.00, blissworld.com) This cream is reported to combat the appearance of cellulite.

What makes this cream so special? Well, Bliss says it's an advanced-technology adipose antagonist and features QuSome-encapsulated caffeine molecules which is suppose to result in a slimming effect for your legs.

I was given a sample to try and I was skeptical at first because I figure it was all marketing and hype. I tried it for a week and it did feel like my legs were firmer. However, I don't have any dimples or cellulite on my legs to really confirm the results I've been hearing about. For those who have cellulite I would suggest using this for more than a week plus coupled with exercise to see big results.

Fat Girl Slim has been a celeb secret product long before the masses has heard of it. This cream has recently been featured on E!'s Sizzling Summer Preview 2007 and in countless beauty and fashion magazines.
