** Mary-Kate Olsen will join the cast of Showtime's hit comedy Weeds. She will play a devoted Christian on the third season that will begin August 13th.

** Rapper and Music Producer, Master P. (Percy Miller) trying to make a positive difference in the rap industry, by no longer signing rap artists to his label that use offensive or derogatory words in lyrics.
** Teens are spending less of their part-time paychecks and allowance on clothes and accessories and more on filling up their tanks and eating out. This information was reported during a teen panel at the Piper Jaffray Annual Consumer Conference in New York City held June 6th and 7th.

** Tavern on the Green Launches New Line of Branded Sauces, Dipping Oils and Marinades. Tavern on the Green, the New York City landmark restaurant in Central Park, just announced a partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Under the agreement, Tavern on the Green will launch an exclusive line of branded sauces, marinades, and dipping oils, available through a new company called Tavern Direct.com whose goal is to donate 25 percent of its profits to NCMEC.
