Workshop on Board Diversity: Moving Beyond Tokenism: Making Board Diversity a Positive and Productive Experience. How do you diversify your board in a way that is meaningful and effective? Is it possible to get your current board members “on board” with this task?
Explore the answers to these questions and more as we discuss the challenges and opportunities involved when nonprofit organizations face issues related to board diversity.
The workshop will include practical strategies that nonprofit managers and board members can begin implementing immediately. Participants will learn from board members who have been down this path – and have successfully managed the process and achieved the desired outcomes.
