What to Watch This Weekend: Two Favorites, a New Movie and a New Show

Even though I'm on vacation, I thought I would highlight a few things worth watching on TV this weekend. Enjoy the weekend and see you back on Monday.

Monk (Tony Shalhoub) returns with an investigation on a cult group and then becomes enchanted by them. Howie Mandel guest stars as the cult leader.

Psych 60min USA Network

Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dule Hill) return for another crazy adventure as the psychic detectives of Psych. First up Gus may be hiding a secret from his past. Kerry Washington guest stars as the mysterious woman from Gus' past.


Saturday

Queen Sized 120min Lifetime Network

Based on a true story, Nikki Blonsky stars as Maggie Baker in this movie of a teen who was nominated for Homecoming Queen as joke. Rather than succumb to the joke she goes through with competing for the crown. Also, starring Annie Potts.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles 60min Fox

Based on the "Terminator" movies, Sarah Connor (Leah Headey) and her son John (Thomas Dekker) are moving to a new town that has surprises in store for them. Summer Glau as the Terminator Cameron and Richard T. Jones as FBI agent James Ellison.
