Saturday night I went to an outdoor cocktail party that friend had at her house. I thought this was a cool idea because the weather was great and it was fun to just enjoy the night. I had a great time with friends dancing all night. I will admit it sometimes I don't always feel like heading out to the latest nightclub and dealing with weird and strange people. It's nice to spend time with friends.
The party was great because she had a great DJ (her boyfriend is a professional DJ) so we had great music playing throughout the party. It's so nice to go to a party instead of having to work it. She had a signature drink: The Lemon Drop Martini and had other non-alcoholic drinks like water, juice, etc.
To not even deal with the stress of who's going to drive to and from the party, my two friends and I just took a taxi. It's safe and we didn't have to worry.
Sunday:
I met a few friends (sorority sisters) for brunch, nothing fancy just a time to sit and catch up on life after college. It was nice because one of my friends just got a promotion and a raise. I was proud of her. We just sat there for a while then did a little light shopping. I have to start doing this more often.
