Cartier goes Red for Charity with Rosario Dawson

Celebrating the Fourth of July never looked or felt so good. Give back to the causes closest to your heart with Cartier’s New LOVECharity Bracelets. Join Rosario Dawson in supporting her charity in style for this summer’s patriotic holiday, because $100 of each bracelet sold will benefit its corresponding charity. Each silk-knotted bracelet linked with an 18k white gold miniature can be purchased at 33 Cartier boutiques nationwide for $475.

This Independence Day show your LOVE for: Red

Rosario Dawson for the YouthAIDS Organization

YouthAIDS, an education and prevention initiative of PSI, uses media, pop culture, music, theatre and sport to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and reach 600 million young people in more than 60 countries with life-saving messages, products, services and care.

On a global scale, and particularly in less developed countries, HIV affects women at a greater rate than men.

Equality of opportunity empowers women and girls to make knowledgeable decisions about their health and fertility, and envision identities unbound by sexual, marital and mothering roles. Adolescents reach adulthood in societies that undervalue the contributions of women and perpetuate harmful gender stereotypes and sexual violence against women. Few countries guarantee women equal rights within marriage, divorce and family property. Governments and nongovernmental organizations must continue social and political efforts to ensure gender equality, provide better opportunities for, and facilitate the education of young women.
