** Jessica Alba named as Revlon's new face. She will be featured in a global advertising campaign for the new Revlon 3D Extreme Mascara that will include television, print, in-store and internet placements (Fashion Week Daily).

** American Red Cross appoints new President and CEO, Mark W. Everson effective May 29, 2007

** Brooks Bros. is preparing to enter resort settings across the U.S. starting May 1 with a smaller store format called Brooks Bros. Country Club Collection (WWD).

** In the May issue of Chicago Magazine, they explore the TV habits of Chicago residents to see which shows are most popular.

** TV Guide, NBC and Twentieth Century Fox Television team up for My Name Is Earl original ``Laugh 'n Sniff'' Interactive Episode.

** Toys 'R' Us Children's Fund hosted their annual fundraising gala and raised nearly $5 Million to support organizations that help children in need.

** Kylie Minogue is creating a a limited edition swimwear line to debut at H&M in mid-May. Though, she didn't design the line, she did contribute ideas and will appear in ads themed ''H&M loves Kylie.''

** Alcohol 'makes fruit healthier' according to a BBC article where researchers say fruit may be better with alcohol and strawberries are good for you but having them in a cocktail may make them even healthier.

** Mother and dauther, Anne and Amanda Hearst are on the cover of the Spring 2007 issue of Hamptons Magazine.

** Circuit City teams with Napster to launch New Digital Music Service starting April 29, 2007. Consumers can sign up for Circuit City +Napster at http://www.circuitcity.com/napster and gain unlimited access to millions of songs on their PCs and compatible digital music devices for $14.95 per month. New subscribers will receive the first month of access free of charge, along with five free song downloads.
