Finding those elusive dollars for your project is one of the most important and challenging aspects of independent video production and filmmaking. This workshop will introduce you to a wide variety of funding resources that exist in print, online and in your community. Topics include:

* How to research and write effective grants
* Fundraising and resource gathering strategies
* The dynamics of grant panels
* Distribution plans and why they are important
* The benefits of being affiliated with a non-profit fiscal sponsor

This workshop is tailored primarily for documentary productions but narrative filmmakers may pick up a trick or two! Class limit: 15
