Trends from Fall Fashion Week 2007

Now that NYC fashion week is over, everyone is processing the trends that went down the runway.

Some of the trends that I noticed were:

1. Wide-leg trousers: Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors and Betsey Johnson to name a few.
2. Color: Gray, black, blue, yellow, white, and jewel tones
3. Hats
4. Minis: dresses and skirts
5. Prints: from the subtle to the bold
6. Metallics: Gold, Silver and Pewter from purses, shoes, dresses and hats
7. Oversized bags: a staple among seasons
8. Opaque tights
9. Hair: Shiny pony tails, pinned up styles, straight and flowy,
10. Coats: Long and slim, knee length trench style, wrap style
11. Jackets: Cropped, trench,
12. Men inspired styles
13. Old hollywood inspired glamour gowns
14. Shirt dresses
15. Knee-high boots
16. Stripes and plaid
17. Bold accessories: belts, scarves, gloves and jewelry
18. Satin
19. Make-up: nude lips, smokey eyes, berry lips, soft gold and silver on eyes, blue eyeshadow
20. Fur: From trims to full coats, jackets, gloves and hats
